IP54 vs IP65: Where You Can Safely Use Each

Mounting Height
Mounting height controls how long the upward light column is and how much the downward beam spreads:

Spacing
Space up-down wall lights 2.5–3.5 metres apart. Closer than 2.5m and the upward beams overlap into a harsh band; wider than 3.5m and dark gaps appear between the columns.

Symmetry

Warm white (3000K) is the default for up-down facade lighting. Common Up-Down Wall Light Mistakes
